We're pleased to introduce our new Senior Director of Pathology Services - Dr. Katherine Knostman!

After many hours of discussions and research, we're  pleased to share with you that we’ve found our new Senior Director of Pathology Services - StageBio’s own Dr. Katherine (Katie) Knostman!  We are thrilled that she'll be leading our pathology team as StageBio continues to grow and serve our clients.

Dr. Knostman's earned her PhD and DVM from The Ohio State University and is a Diplomate of ACVP.  She joined StageBio (legacy HSRL) in March 2017, and has 23+ years of experience in veterinary medicine and pathology with wide-ranging expertise in clinical veterinary practice, gross and microscopic veterinary pathology (toxicologic, medical device, and diagnostic/surgical), preclinical animal models, mouse phenotyping, non-invasive small animal imaging, toxicology, biodefense research, and in vitro analysis of gene and protein expression and function in human and animal cells and tissues.

She is an active member of a variety of societies, some of which include ACVP, STP, Ohio Academy of Science, and Women for Economic and Leadership Development. Currently she is Chair of ACVP’s Industrial and Toxicologic Pathology Focused Scientific Group.
