StageBio Announces New Senior Vice President, Operations

StageBio, a leading international provider of GLP-compliant research, preclinical and clinical histopathology and biospecimen archiving services for the life sciences industry, announces that Ms. Kimberly Uptgraft has been appointed to Senior Vice President, Operations of StageBio.

As Senior Vice President, Operations, and a part of the StageBio leadership team, Kimberly will support the company’s mission by:

  • Overseeing StageBio’s day to day operations team and strategy
  • Offering an innovative and collaborative approach with clients to meet their goals
  • Supporting executive leadership on strategic decision making and improving client outcomes
  • Providing key insight and strategies to maintain continued organic growth

Prior to joining StageBio, Ms. Uptgraft held the Senior Director, Global Project Management position for Labcorp Drug Development (formerly Covance), where she was responsible for the day to day management of study setup and study maintenance teams, as well as implementing and executing successful global management strategies.

Ms. Uptgraft brings nearly thirty years of experience in the life science and CRO field, including over 20 years holding managerial and leadership positions. She is committed to the success and development of her team and industry, evidenced by her innovation and implementation of new ideas to improve internal processes while enhancing customer outcomes.

Ms. Uptgraft’s dedication to success throughout her career is evidenced through her commitment to mentorship, training, and improvement of standard operating procedures.

Most recently, Ms. Uptgraft received the Labcorp Hero Award and completed the Chief Learning Officer Executive Development Program with the George Mason School of Business. Additionally, Kimberly completed her Bachelor’s of Arts in Microbiology and Bachelor’s of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, received her MT ASCP in Medical Technology from the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, and obtained her Master of Science in Management from Indiana Wesleyan University.
