StageBio appoints Dr. Juliana Lee as Interim Director, Medical Device Pathology

StageBio is honored to introduce Dr. Juliana Lee, BVSc, MS, DACVP as Interim Director, Medical Device Pathology.

We are happy to have Juliana in this new role, and we are looking forward to all she will accomplish!

As part of our medical device pathologist team, Dr. Juliana Lee will support StageBio’s mission by:

  • Assisting with development of short- and long-term Division objectives
  • Meeting regularly with Division operations leadership to ensure operational efficiency
  • Providing regular Division updates at Scientific Advisory Committee meetings
  • Maintaining and building internal relationships and foster the team
  • Serving as subject matter expert and provide guidance to Client and/or Study Sponsor to assist in the identification of project scope
  • Interacting with clients as needed to facilitate project development and satisfaction
  • Functioning as Principal Investigator, Study Pathologist, and/or peer review or pathology working group (PWG) pathologist

AboutDr. Juliana Lee, Interim Director, Medical Device Pathology

Dr. Lee completed her training in anatomic pathology at the Joint Pathology Center in Silver Spring, Maryland. She is a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Pathologists and a member of the Society of Toxicologic Pathology. Dr. Lee has a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a master’s degree in Veterinary Pathology with experience in molecular pathology. In addition to her work in pre-clinical studies involving medical devices and neuropathology, she brings a robust enthusiasm for sound science and quality work to any study as a consulting or lead pathologist.
