StageBio welcomes Lori A. Wright, RQAP-GLP as the Senior Director, Quality and Regulatory

StageBio is honored to introduce Lori A. Wright, RQAP-GLP, Senior Director, Quality and Regulatory. We are happy to have Lori in this new role, and we are looking forward to all she will accomplish!

As part of our Quality Assurance team, Ms. Wright will support StageBio’s mission by:

  • Providing leadership for all Quality systems and activities
  • Assuring synergistic alignment of Operations and Quality functions
  • Promoting a healthy culture of continuous quality improvement
  • Supporting StageBio’s Quality and Executive teams through informed compliance advice

About Lori Wright, RQAP-GLP, Senior Director, Quality and Regulatory

Lori has extensive experience in the U.S. Food and Drug Administration Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) regulations and brings 30 years of industry experience to the StageBio team. Prior to joining the company in June 2022, she served as Director, Quality and Compliance at Southern Research in Birmingham, Alabama and Manager, Regulatory Compliance at Charles River Laboratories (formerly WIL Research Laboratories) in Ashland, Ohio. She has hosted hundreds of GLP Sponsor audits and participated in many regulatory inspections.

While serving on the Board of Directors for the Society of Quality Assurance (SQA), Lori is the Chair of the Good Laboratory Practice Specialty Section and has served as President of the Southern Regional Chapter of SQA, as well as on numerous elected committees. She is a frequent speaker at SQA conferences and Quality College sessions and has been recognized as an SQA Distinguished Speaker each year since 2018.

Lori received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Ashland (Ohio) University and earned a Graduate certificate in Biotechnology Regulatory Affairs from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She is a certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and a Registered Quality Assurance Professional in Good Laboratory Practices (RQAP-GLP).

Ms. Wright lives in Bay Minette, Alabama where she enjoys gardening and aiding conservation efforts along the Gulf beaches.
